closing the place of business for thirty (30) days, and certify the <br /> same to the Commissioner of Safety of the city of Everett, and <br /> thereupon the Commissioner of Safety shall direct the police offic- <br /> ers to execute that part of the sentence "closing said place of <br /> business for thirty days" and it shall be the duty of the city <br /> attorney in all cases of conviction of the violations of the provis- <br /> ions of this ordinance where the judgment of the court has been <br /> that the place of tusiness he closed for any length of time,to furn- <br /> ish said Commissioner of Safety a certified copy of said order of <br /> judgment. For a second violation of any of the provisions of this <br /> ordinance, in addition to the fine or imprisonment provided for the <br /> first offense, if the ordinance is violated by the holder of any lic- <br /> ense or by any of his employees,the court shall make an order closing <br /> said place of business for three months,and thereupon the city at- <br /> torney shall furnish the Commissioner of Safety with a certified copy <br /> of said order, and the commissioner of safety shall proceed as upon <br /> conviction for the first violation of this ordinance. <br /> If any employee of any licensed liquor dealer is convicted a <br /> second time for violating any of the provisions of this ordinance, <br /> the license of said employee shall be thereupon revoked. 'To other <br /> w <br /> license shall ever be granted such employee in such capacity with <br /> any licensed liquor dealer. <br /> For a third violation of any of the provisions of this ordinan- <br /> ce in addition to the fine or imprisonment provided for the first <br /> offense, if the ordinance is violated by the holder of any license <br /> or any of his employees,the court shall make an order closing the <br /> said place of business _-ermanently, and cancelling and revoking said <br /> license,and thereupon the city attorney shall furnish the Commission- <br /> er of Safety with a certified copy of such order, and the Commission- <br /> er of Safety shall proceed permanently to close said place of busi- <br /> ness,and thereafter no license shall be granted for such location for <br /> the period of two years. <br /> Section 34.; All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con- <br /> flich with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />
