r <br /> Section 32: Nothing in this ordinance shall be construed <br /> to prevent any retail licensed liquor dealer from serving patrons of <br /> any public restaurant or public dining room with intoxicating <br /> liquor with their meals, providing said restaurant or dining room <br /> complies with the provisions of this ordinance, and is adjacent to <br /> or connected with the place of business of such retail licensed <br /> liquor dealer. <br /> Provided, further, that no intoxicating liquor shall be <br /> served or consumed in any such restaurant or dining room during <br /> the hours when saloons are required to be closed by the provisions <br /> of this ordinance. <br /> Section 33: WHEREAS, at an election held on November 5, <br /> 1912, the qualified electors of the city of Everett determined that <br /> the sale of intoxicating liquor should be licensed in said city, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that the above ordinance be <br /> passed immediately for the purpose of regulating the sale of intox- <br /> icating liquor in said city, an emergency is declared to exist, <br /> and this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publica- <br /> tion. <br /> • <br /> Mayor. <br /> passed 0 l )---- <br /> Attest: <br /> y Clerk. <br /> Published:' �� 1: p, z-- <br />
