City of Everett <br />WPCF Gate Replacement and Clarifier Launder Repair – Scope of Services <br />May 18, 2026 <br />Page 12 <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br />of the Contract duration or as defined in the Contract, neither of which shall alter the authorized Contract <br />amount. <br />Client Responsibilities <br />The following items are specific responsibilities of the Client in support of this Scope of Services: <br />Processing and payment of invoices in accordance with the Professional Services Agreement. <br />Follow-up on information requests and notification of any issues or concerns. <br />Participate in workshops and arrange the meeting location. <br />Provide standard front-end documents (Division 0). <br />Provide available record drawings and other information (e.g., photos, dimensions, etc.) as <br />requested. <br />Review the design submittals and provide written comments. Confirm responses to comments <br />adequately address City comments and provide follow-up comments as needed. <br />Advertise the Project for bidding and organize pre-bid meetings. <br />Receive bidder questions and consult with BHC on responses and addenda items as needed. <br />Submit bid documents and addenda for the project to Builder’s Exchange. <br />Prepare a tabulation of bids, review bids, and award the Contract. <br />Provide construction administration and observation and all coordination with the contractor. <br />Conduct the pre-construction and progress meetings and prepare associated agenda and notes. <br />Receive RFIs and submittals and distribute associated responses. <br />Maintain submittal and RFI logs. <br />Coordinate inspections. <br />Review pay applications. <br />Prepare change order documentation. <br />Track and document force account work. <br />Conduct the punch list walkthrough, prepare the punch list, and conduct subsequent walkthroughs <br />as needed. <br />Issue notifications of Substantial Completion and Final Completion to the Contractor. <br />Ensure Contractor has submitted all closeout documents. <br />Exclusions <br />The following items are excluded from this Scope of Services. Any of these items could be added as a new <br />task under the current contract via amendment or included in a future Scope of Services if so desired:
