Bond No. 1000.00. <br /> KNOW AIL MAN BY THESE PRESENTS ; That the city of Everett, a municip- <br /> al corporation in the state of mashington, for value received <br /> promises to pay to bearer one thou and (41000) dollars in gold coin <br /> of the United States of the present standard of weight and fineness, <br /> on the first day of 19 with interest thereon <br /> at the rate of per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, <br /> in like gold coin, upon presentation of the coupons hereto attached <br /> as they severally become due. Both principal and interest payable at <br /> the fiscal agency of the state of Washington in the city and state <br /> of New York, and payable only out of fifty per cent of the gross <br /> revenue of the city dock of the city of Everett, as provided herein <br /> and in Ordinance No. 1407 of the said city, passed May 13, 1912, <br /> and approved May 14, 1912, and ratified by vote of the electors of <br /> said city at a general municipal election duly held on the 18th day <br /> of June, 1912, and the city treasurer is hereby directed to pay <br /> the same as herein provided. <br /> This bond is one of a series issued by the city of Everett <br /> pursuant to said Ordinance No. 1407 of said city, which are payable <br /> only out of City Dock Fund of Everett, Series No. I, said bonds <br /> being issued for the purpose of purchasing the improvements on <br /> certain real estate owned by said city and known as the City Dock <br /> property, and for the purpose of defraying the cost of constructing <br /> an extension to said city dock. The city of Everett hereby covenants <br /> and agrees with the holder of this bond, and each and every person <br /> who may become the holder thereof, .that the said city will, from <br /> time to time, each half year after the issuance of any bond of this <br /> series and before the semi-annual installment of interest on said <br /> bonds becomes due , set aside out of the revenues received from <br />
