Section 9 : There shall be the following named officer and assistants in the office of superintendent of streets, to-wit: Superintendent of streets , one foreman, three Meters, two repair men, one barn boss , four men laborers , • two sweepers. The superintendent of streets shall be the administrative head of this division of the department of public works . .Each of the above named officers and employees shall perform the duties indic- ated by the named of his respective employment, and such other duties as the superintend of streets shall from time to time authorize and determine.
