City of Everett Point Industrial Center (EPIC) Bridge Project – Phase 2 Full Design <br /> <br /> Page 29 of 43 <br /> <br />WORK ELEMENT 8 ARCHITECTURAL AND AESTHETICS DESIGN <br /> <br />This work element is performed by LMN Architects (LMN) to advance the bridge aesthetics, <br />landscape, and urban design to full design. <br />The architectural, landscape, and urban design effort will include the following activities: <br />8.1 Project Management and Administration <br /> Monthly progress reports, and invoices <br /> Team management and coordination <br /> Meetings <br /> <br />8.2 30% Design Phase <br /> Attend internal and whole design team coordination meetings <br /> Confirm preferred alignment <br /> Review TS&L recommendations and approved program criteria <br /> Site analysis including environmental issues, land use, topography and transportation <br />networks to align with TS&L recommendations <br /> Create urban design base map from survey, construct digital architectural model of <br />the bridge <br /> Provide design concepts to address bicycle and pedestrian pathways, landscape park <br />design, and site lighting <br /> Provide design concepts for guardrail and pedestrian barriers <br /> Design coordination with structural engineer on bridge design features <br />Manage landscape architect design effort on park design <br />Environmental or Land-use submittal support, if requested <br /> Provide review and input on project cost estimate <br />Deliverables: <br />Provide report with written narratives, and graphics (to include plans, diagrams, and <br />perspective listed above) <br />Assumptions: <br /> Landscape architect will be sub-consultant to LMN for all design phases <br /> Client interaction: four (4) team meetings, two (2) of which are in person <br /> Schedule duration, assume 6-month duration for 30% design narrative schematic <br />drawings <br /> Assume no public outreach in this phase <br /> <br />8.3 60% Design Phase <br /> Develop and coordinate design concepts approved in 30% phase to address bicycle <br />and pedestrian pathways, landscape park design, and site lighting <br /> Develop and coordinate design concepts approved in 30% phase to address guardrail <br />and pedestrian barriers
