City of Everett Point Industrial Center (EPIC) Bridge Project – Phase 2 Full Design <br /> <br /> Page 34 of 43 <br /> <br />WORK ELEMENT 10 ILLUMINATION & PERMANENT SIGNAGE <br />This work element is performed by CONSULTANT, to provide illumination, ped signal and <br />permanent signage design services. <br />Based on the AGENCY’s selected Alternative, CONSULTANT will provide design services <br />associated with illumination, and permanent signing design. The illumination and signage design <br />is intended for the Bridge and its immediate approaches. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT team will prepare 30%, 60%, 90%, 100% and bid ready plans, specifications, <br />and engineering cost estimates. <br />This work element includes the following tasks: <br />10.1 Illumination <br />The design team will discuss guidelines and criteria with the AGENCY. The team will develop <br />a design basis report outlining the lighting design approach, design criteria, target luminance and <br />luminance levels, power densities, wiring schematics, sources (discuss with the PUD service <br />types and locations), color temperature and control intent. <br /> <br />Following the input from the AGENCY, the lighting engineer will develop illumination PS&E, <br />lighting schedules and provide required fixture catalog cuts. <br />10.2 Permanent Bridge Signage <br />The design team will prepare final permanent bridge signing sheets to reflect the final signing <br />conditions when the project is completed. This effort will include preparation of signing plans, <br />sign specification sheets, and sign attachment details for non-standard signs. The final signing <br />plans will include signs for motorists, bicycles, and pedestrians. <br />Assumptions: <br />Deliverables: <br /> Illumination PS&E at 60%, 90%, & 100% design levels. <br /> Pedestrian Signal PS&E at 60%, 90%, & 100% design levels. <br /> Permanent Signing PS&E at 60%, 90%, & 100% design levels. <br />
