Section 5.- The owner of any dog impounded may redeem the same within forty-eight hours by paying to the Chief of Police the prescribed license tax together with a penalty of one dollar ( $1.00 ) impounding fee. Section 6 . - It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to see that a complete record is kept of all dogs impounded, and of all moneys received in connection with the said pound. Said record shall show the names and residences of all persons redeem- ing dogs, and date of redemption, also a list of the names and addresses of all persons to whom such licenses are issued, with the number, character, and date of expiration of the license iss- ued to each person. Section 7. I : any owner or keeper of any dog shall permit such dog to wear a collar and license tag without the license fee having been paid and license procured, he shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as hereinafter provided. Section 8. It shall he unlawful for any person or persons to attempt to prevent or hinder the Chief of Police, or any other officer or person appointed as aforesaid, from carryiying ouf the provisions of this ordinance. r
