Scope of Work <br />US 2 Trestle Interim Improvements 2 April 2026 <br />Task 01 – Project Management <br />Objectives <br />The objective of this task is to provide overall project management of the consultant contract with <br />the City of Everett (the City). The Consultant shall be fully responsible for the selection and <br />application of all professional means, methods, assumptions, and analytical approaches used in the <br />performance of this Scope of Work. <br />All deliverables shall be technically accurate, internally consistent, and prepared in conformance <br />with applicable WSDOT and FHWA guidance sufficient to support agency review and approval. <br />While the Consultant does not guarantee final agency approval, the Consultant shall, at no additional <br />cost to the City, address and resolve agency review comments that arise from errors, omissions, <br />inconsistencies, or failure to follow applicable standards. <br />Additional effort required due to changes in agency policy, new data requirements, or scope changes <br />directed by the City shall be addressed through a negotiated amendment. This task includes general <br />management functions that include the following subtasks and deliverables <br />Subtask 01-01 – Project Management Plan <br />The Consultant shall prepare a Project Management Plan (PMP) for delivery of the project. The PMP <br />is intended to be a living document that will be maintained/updated throughout the project. Prepare <br />a draft PMP and submit to the City for review. The PMP will include the following: <br /> Master Work Breakdown Structure <br /> Schedule/Milestones <br /> Quality Management Plan <br /> Risk Management Plan <br /> Communication Plan <br /> Project electronic filing system <br /> Change Management Plan <br /> Measures of Success <br /> Team Decision Making Process <br />Assumptions <br />Assumptions for this task include: <br /> One draft PMP will be developed for City review and comment. <br /> The final PMP will be updated up to two additional times to address changes to <br />communications, schedule, contacts, or procedures.
