Compliance with floodplain requirements shall be addressed within <br /> the scope of the shoreline permit process. The shoreline permit shall be obtained prior to <br /> application for building permits. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. Shoreline Permit Required. All permitted and conditional uses within the <br /> floodway and flood fringe district which also meet the requirements for a shoreline <br /> permit shall obtain said permit, using the review processes as described in the City's <br /> Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance,prior to obtaining construction permits. <br /> Compliance with floodplain requirements shall be addressed within the scope of the <br /> shoreline permit process. Construction or substantial improvement of any building or structure and <br /> substantial improvement or reconstruction after damage of nonconforming buildings in <br /> the floodway and flood fringe not under the jurisdiction of the shoreline permit process <br /> shall be required to obtain a flood plain development permit.
