consideration in accordance with the review process as described in the City's Local <br /> Projects Review Procedures Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 28: That Ordinance No. 1671-89 (EMC 19.33.070) which reads in part as <br /> follows: <br /> Review of request to alter. <br /> The city will review, and decide upon any proposal to alter a designated significant <br /> feature of an historic overlay zone using the process outlined below: <br /> A. All proposals to develop property within or to alter a designated significant feature of <br /> an historic overlay zone shall be reviewed by the historical commission. The historical <br /> commission shall approve, disapprove or modify a request at its next regularly scheduled <br /> meeting or no later than forty-five days from the date of application for development or <br /> alternation. In modifying or disapproving a request, the historical commission shall make <br /> finds stating why the request was modified or disapproved. <br /> B. Any decision made by the historical commission relating to a request to develop <br /> property within or to alter a designated significant feature of an historic overlay zone may <br /> be appealed to the city council. Appeals shall be filed in writing with the planning <br /> department and shall be accompanied by the current filing fees established by ordinance. <br /> Appeals shall be filed within ten working days of the date the historical commission <br /> issued its decision. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Review of request to alter. <br /> The city will review, and decide upon any proposal to alter a designated significant <br /> feature of an historic overlay zone using the process outlined below: <br /> A. Review Procedure. Modifications may be proposed in conjunction with or subsequent <br /> to a proposal to designate the subject property as an historic overlay zone as provided in <br /> Sections 33.020 through 33.050 of this chapter.
