• <br /> Quantity and location of parking for uses subject to Review Process III shall be <br /> established during the review process, unless already specified in this title. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Quantity and location of parking for uses subject to a hearing examiner review processes <br /> set forth in the City's Local Project Review Procedures Ordinance shall be established <br /> during the review process, unless already specified in this title. <br /> SECTION 34: That Ordinance No. 1671-89 as amended by Section 4 of Ordinance <br /> 1793-91 and Section 56 of Ordinance No. 2397-99 (EMC 19.34.070 A) which reads in <br /> part as follows: <br /> A. An applicant may request a modification of the parking requirements of this title. The <br /> review authority and review process shall be based upon the following criteria: <br /> 1. Uses which are reviewed using Review Process III shall have requests for a <br /> modification of parking requirements considered during the review process for that use. <br /> 2. Variances requesting a reduction of parking requirements by more than ten percent, <br /> which are not being considered concurrently with a use which required Review Process <br /> III shall be considered using Review Process IV. <br /> 3. Requests for a modification of parking requirements of not more than ten percent may <br /> be reviewed by the planning director using Review Process II, subject to the following <br /> requirements: <br /> a. The planning director may approve a request for such a modification only if such a <br /> request is supported by the city traffic engineer,based upon information or <br /> documentation contained in a parking analysis, as may be required by the traffic <br /> engineer. <br /> b. The planning director may not approve a modification of parking standards for <br /> residential uses. <br /> c. The decision of the planning director on a request to modify parking requirements <br /> shall be subject to appeal to the hearing examiner, as provided in Section 41.180. <br /> d. In approving a request for a modification to reduce parking standards by not more <br /> than ten percent, the planning director shall not be required to make the findings required <br /> for variances, described in Chapter 41,but shall issue written findings which are <br /> substantiated by the information required by subsection B of this section. <br /> BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: <br /> A.
