Assumptions: <br /> Two weeks of notice will be provided to the City for scheduling onsite exploration. <br /> Excess cuttings from the pits not placed back in the hole will be spread on City property <br /> as designated by the City and recommended by the Consultant. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> One electronic copy of the final geotechnical report in PDF format. A hard copy of the <br /> final geotechnical report will be included in the final predesign report. <br /> Task 3—Predesign Report <br /> Objective: Prepare a Predesign Report for the City providing the siting, sizing, and <br /> material options available for the new reservoir. <br /> 1. Describe up to three siting options as previously described by the City. <br /> 2. Provide descriptions for three different reservoir construction materials, <br /> welded steel,bolted steel, and concrete. <br /> 3. Provide a cost range based upon sizing from 400,000 to 1,000,000 gallons <br /> for each reservoir construction material. <br /> 4. Analyze options for connecting to the existing system, including a new <br /> main along the existing roadway and a new main along the existing water <br /> main route. <br /> 5. Alternatives analysis and recommendation for a preferred reservoir and <br /> piping route to connect to the existing system. <br /> 6. Include of the geotechnical report from Task 2 and its findings. <br /> 7. Document findings in a Predesign report. <br /> 8. Gray& Osborne will attend one review meeting at the City. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> Three hard copies and an electronic copy in PDF format for the draft and final submittals <br /> G&O#20164.87 Page 3 of 7 <br />
