1 I¢06�6.RATF <br /> 2 1-06.6 Recycled Materials <br /> 3 (January 4, 2016 APWA GSP) <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Delete this section, including its subsections, and replace it with the following: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 The Contractor shall make their best effort to utilize recycled materials in the <br /> 8 construction of the project. Approval of such material use shall be as detailed elsewhere <br /> 9 in the Standard Specifications. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Prior to Physical Completion the Contractor shall report the quantity of recycled <br /> 12 materials that were utilized in the construction of the project for each of the items listed <br /> 13 in Section 9-03.21. The report shall include hot mix asphalt, recycled concrete <br /> 14 aggregate, recycled glass, steel furnace slag and other recycled materials (e.g. <br /> 15 utilization of on-site material and aggregates from concrete returned to the supplier). <br /> 16 The Contractor's report shall be provided on DOT form 350-075 Recycled Materials <br /> 17 Reporting. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 ; 0 'l <br /> 20 Legal Relations and Responsibilities to the Public <br /> 21 <br /> 227. <br /> 23 Laws to be Observed <br /> 24 <br /> 25 O7 6R1i <br /> 26 Section 1-07.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 27 <br /> 28 70i <br /> 29 1-07.1 Laws to be Observed <br /> 30 (October 1, 2005 APWA GSP) <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Supplement this section with the following: <br /> 33 <br /> 34 In cases of conflict between different safety regulations, the more stringent regulation <br /> 35 shall apply. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries shall be the sole and <br /> 38 paramount administrative agency responsible for the administration of the provisions of <br /> 39 the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act of 1973 (WISHA). <br /> 40 <br /> 41 The Contractor shall maintain at the project site office, or other well known place at the <br /> 42 project site, all articles necessary for providing first aid to the injured. The Contractor <br /> 43 shall establish, publish, and make known to all employees, procedures for ensuring <br /> 44 immediate removal to a hospital, or doctor's care, persons, including employees, who <br /> 45 may have been injured on the project site.
