CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS i <br /> The calculated volume will include existing asphalt and concrete surfaces, including existing I <br /> underground vaults, catch basins and manholes to remain. <br /> BID ITEM A-13: CONSTRUCTION GEOTEXTILE I <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard <br /> The unit price per square yard for Construction Geotextile shall be full compensation for all 1 <br /> labor, material, incidentals, tools, and equipment necessary to furnish and place fabric where <br /> directed by the engineer for use beneath roadway sub-base or other areas of the project. <br /> Geotextile type shall be woven meeting the requirements of ASTM D4632 in accordance with <br /> Section 2-12 of Standard Specifications. <br /> Measurement will be by the square yard for the ground surface area actually covered. I <br /> BID ITEM A-14: FOUNDATION MATERIAL <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton <br /> The unit price bid per ton for foundation material, Class A, B, or as approved by the Engineer, <br /> shall constitute full compensation for all labor, materials and equipment required to furnish, <br /> place, and compact foundation material as specified in the Contract Documents. <br /> The unit price of this bid item includes all costs for dewatering and over-excavation, removal, , <br /> and disposal of unsuitable subgrade material below the pipe zone or roadway subgrade. <br /> Measurement for foundation material shall be by the ton, recorded on certified weight tickets per <br /> Section 1-09.1 for Foundation Material placed within the limits of dimensions defined in the <br /> Contract Documents, or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. <br /> Payment for foundation material, Class A, B, or as approved by the Engineer will be by the ton. <br /> BID ITEM A-15 & B-13: ROADWAY ASPHALT TREATED BASE (ATB) <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Ton <br /> Measurement for ATB shall be recorded on certified weight tickets in accordance with Section 1- <br /> 09.2 Weighing Equipment. This measurement is for ATB placed within the limits of dimensions <br /> defined in the Contract Documents, or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. No deduction will <br /> be made for the weight of asphalt binder, mineral filler, or other component of the mixture. I <br /> The unit price for this bid item shall be full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment and <br /> related work necessary to furnish, place, compact, roll, and perform density tests on multiple lifts <br /> of ATB.
