CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS ' BID ITEM A-39: SIDE SEWER CONNECTION 1 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price Per Each The unit price per each side sewer connection shall be full compensation for all labor, material, , tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the work as defined in Section 7-18 of these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans. Included in this bid item is locating the existing side sewer, replacing the side sewer as shown on the Contract Plans, connection to the main pipe and existing side sewer, fittings per Plan Details and COE Standard Drawings. I Included in this bid item are all costs for trench excavation, removing and disposing of pavement sidewalk, curb, miscellaneous surfacing, landscape materials or sod, removing and disposing of existing side sewer pipe; hauling and disposing of surplus or unsuitable materials; excavation; backfill; dewatering; sewage bypassing; stockpiling, hauling, cleaning and flushing pipes; testing and inspecting and replacing; protecting and maintaining adjacent utilities. All costs in jointing dissimilar side sewer pipe with a coupling shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Restoration of private improvements in streets and private property affected by side sewer construction and not otherwise included in other bid items, shall be considered incidental to this bid item, except, where restoration of private improvements listed in item 1 under of Force I Account Bid Item, and as authorized by the Engineer, that restoration work will be done by Force Account. BID ITEM A-40 & B-36: CONCRETE CURB, TYPE E-1 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot The unit price bid per linear foot of Concrete Curb and Gutter, Type E-1 shall be full compensation for all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals, including forms, necessary to perform the work and shall include the replacement of concrete curbs or curb and gutter impacted by construction activities and curb ramp installation in accordance with the Contract Documents. The cost of removing existing curbing, haul and disposal, and subgrade preparation is incidental , and shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Installation of curb depressions for driveway cuts and curb ramps shall be incidental to these items and no separate payment will be made. Measurement shall be per linear foot as delineated by the Contractor and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. I BID ITEM A-41 & B-37: CEMENT CONCRETE DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE TYPE 3 Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Square Yard , Measurement shall be per square yard as delineated by the Contractor in accordance to the COE Standard Drawing 307 and 309 and approved by the Inspector prior to removal. I The unit price per square yard of Cement Concrete Driveway Types 1 and 3 shall be full compensation for all tools, materials, labor, and equipment necessary for replacement of concrete driveway approach impacted by construction activities and shown on the Plans and in SEWER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT AND CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS SEWER "M" PHASE II WO No.- UP3470-10 Division D-BID ITEM DESCRIPTIONS April 2016 SP -46
