April 20, 2016 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts spoke about a letter he sent to Dow Constantine, <br /> the Sound Transit board chair, recommending a different configuration of <br /> the Sound Transit (ST3) proposal. He also invited citizens to attend a <br /> workshop about the Sound Transit 3 (ST3) proposal to be held at Everett <br /> Station on April 25, 2016, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and to submit comments <br /> by visiting the Sound Transit web site: www.soundtransit3.org. <br /> President Murphy asked if the Council should consider taking an action to <br /> address the ST3 proposal. <br /> Mayor Stephanson and Council Member Roberts suggested waiting and <br /> considering the action in the future. <br /> Council Member Tuohy provided a liaison report on her attendance at the <br /> Library Board meeting last evening. <br /> Council Member Franklin provided a liaison report on her attendance at <br /> the Community Streets Initiative Task Force meeting last evening. She <br /> encouraged citizens to watch the full meeting. <br /> President Murphy provided a liaison report on his attendance at the Police <br /> Pension Board meeting earlier today. He also informed the Council that <br /> the concern, raised by Council Member Stonecipher regarding the <br /> presence of two rideshare services in a community, Lyft and Uber, is <br /> being addressed by the City Attorney's office. President Murphy asked the <br /> City Attorney's office to report back to the Council within a month. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, asked Tim Miller, Traffic Engineering, to <br /> provide information about traffic impacts associated with the Southwest <br /> Everett Industrial Area Project (BSP 15-003). <br /> Tim Miller provided a brief overview of the traffic study related to the <br /> project. <br /> 127 <br />
