I <br /> 1 Contractor represents and warrants it is a contractor duly registered and in good standing with the <br /> I 2 Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 1-10 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL <br /> I 5 <br /> 6 1-10.1(2) Description <br /> 7 <br /> I 8 Revise the third paragraph to read: <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The Contractor shall provide signs and other traffic control devices not otherwise <br /> 11 specified as being furnished by the Contracting Agency. The Contractor shall erect and <br /> 12 maintain all construction signs; warning signs, detour signs, and other traffic control <br /> 13 devices necessary to warn and protect the public at all times from injury or damage as a <br /> 14 result of the Contractor's operations which may occur on highways, roads, streets, <br /> I 15 sidewalks, or paths. No work shall be done on or adjacent to any traveled way until all <br /> 16 necessary signs and traffic control devices are in place. <br /> 17 <br /> I 18 1-10.2 Traffic Control Management <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Section 1-10.2 is modified by adding the following: <br /> I 21 <br /> 22 he City provides a copy of its Standard Traffic Control Plans, but does not represent or <br /> 23 warrant that the Standard Plans are sufficient, adequate or complete for the Contractor's <br /> I 24 means, methods or plan of work. If, and to the extent, a new or additional traffic control <br /> 25 plan (in whole or in part) is necessary for the Contractor to perform the work, the <br /> 26 Contractor shall prepare such plan at its sole cost and submit it to the City for approval <br /> 27 at least ten days before starting work. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 1-10.2 (1) B Traffic Control Supervisor <br /> 30 Revise the first paragraph to read as follows: <br /> I31 <br /> 32 When one is identified in the project specification and in the bid proposal, the Traffic <br /> 33 Control Supervisor (TCS) shall be present on the project whenever flagging or spotting <br /> I 34 or other traffic control labor is being utilized or less frequently, as authorized by the <br /> 35 engineer. <br /> 36 <br /> I 37 1-10.2 (2) Traffic Control Plans <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Section 1-10.2 (2) is modified by adding the following: <br /> I 40 <br /> 41 The City provides a copy of the Standard Traffic Control Plans, but does not represent or <br /> 42 warrant that the Standard Plans are sufficient, adequate or complete for the Contractor's <br /> I 43 means, methods or plan of work.
