1 (******) <br /> 2 2-01.2(4) Disposal Method No. 4— Onsite Disposal111 <br /> 3 Trees may be disposed of onsite in accordance with the following: <br /> 4 1. Trees shall be accepted by Owner's Representative and be larger than 6-inches in <br /> 5 diameter and at least 10 feet in length. Other debris shall be disposed in <br /> 6 accordance with other allowable disposal methods. <br /> 7 2. Trees shall be placed within the habitat berm areas shown on the plans at the <br /> 8 direction of the Owner's Representative. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Construction Requirements <br /> 11 <br /> 12 Roadside Cleanup <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Section 2-01.3(4) is supplemented with the following: <br /> 15 111 <br /> 16 (******) <br /> 17 6. Removing trash, manmade debris, and miscellaneous refuse within the limits of work. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Payment <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Section 2-01.5 is revised to read as follows: <br /> 22 <br /> 23 (******) <br /> 24 Payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-04.1 for the following bid items: <br /> 25 "Clearing and Grubbing" per lump sum. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 The contract price for "Clearing and Grubbing" shall be full pay for all labor, materials, tools and <br /> 28 equipment necessary to remove existing plant material from the work area and prepare the work <br /> 29 area for other Earthwork and Miscellaneous Construction. This includes all costs for the work <br /> 30 required to clear and grub the work area; remove and replace obstructions including fallen trees; <br /> 31 protect trees; remove and dispose of trees; salvage tree(s) and place within the habitat berm; <br /> 32 .stump grinding CF removed trees; invasive plant removal; haul and dip nncc of trash, manmade <br /> 33 material, and debris; clean up; prepare work plans; update schedules; and provide traffic <br /> 34 control. <br /> 35 <br /> 36 There shall be no separate payment for "Tree Removal Plan," "Tree Removal" or "Pruning". This <br /> 37 work shall be incidental to "Clearing and Grubbing." <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br /> 40 Removal of Structures and Obstructions <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Construction Requirements <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Section 2-02.3 is revised to read as follows: <br /> 45 <br /> 46 (******) I <br /> 47 Contractor shall prepare for, remove, and dispose of creosote-treated piles and creosote-treated <br /> 48 trestle structures including beams that occur in Pile Removal areas as indicated on the Plans. <br /> 49 <br /> 50 Any material not named in the Special Provisions as Contracting Agency property shall become <br /> 51 the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the project. <br /> 52 1 <br /> RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT NORTH WETLAND COMPLEX 100 <br /> 111 <br />
