I <br /> 1 <br /> 2 Acceptance of the Creosote Removal Plan by the Project Engineer is required111 <br /> 3 prior to any creosote removal work. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 Measurement I <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Section 2-02.4 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 9 (******) <br /> 10 "Pile Removal" will be measured per ton in the hauling vehicle. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The unit Contract price per ton for "Pile Removal" shall be full pay for all costs incurred for <br /> 13 all material, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to remove, contain, load, and <br /> 14 dispose of untreated and creosote-treated timber including piles and railroad trestle <br /> 15 structures in accordance with 1-07.5. The Creosote Removal Plan shall be considered <br /> 16 incidental to this item. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 (December 4, 2006) <br /> 19 Hazardous material excavation including haul will be measured by the cubic yard. All <br /> 20 excavated material will be measured in the position it occupied before the excavation was <br /> 21 performed. An original ground measurement will be taken using cross-section or digital <br /> 22 terrain modeling survey techniques. The original ground will be compared with a survey of <br /> 23 the excavation area taken after the work is completed. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Payment <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Section 2-02.5 is revised to read as follows: <br /> 28 <br /> 29 (******) <br /> 30 Payment will be made in accordance with Section 1-04.1, for the following Bid items <br /> 31 included in the proposal: 111 <br /> 32 <br /> 33 "Pile Removal", ton. <br /> 34 The unit Contract price per ton for "Pile Removal" shall be full pay for all costs incurred for <br /> 35 all material, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to remove, contain, load, and <br /> 36 dispose of untreated and creosote-treated timber including piles and railroad trestle <br /> 37 structures in accordance with 1-07.5 in these Special Provisions.
