"Directional sign"means a single- or double-faced sign not exceeding eight square feet in <br /> surface area per side, designed to guide or direct pedestrian or vehicular traffic to an area, <br /> place or convenience. Section 4.020(M) of Ordinance No.1671-89, as amended(EMC 19.04.020((M)), <br /> is amended by the repeal of the following definition: <br /> "Multiple occupancy complex"means a group of structures, each housing at least one <br /> retail business, office or commercial venture, or a single structure containing more than <br /> one business with separating walls and at least one outside access for each business, <br /> which shares a common access and/or parking facility. <br /> Section 5. Section 4.020(P) of Ordinance No.1671-89, as amended(EMC 19.04.020((P)), <br /> definition of "Portable Sign"which reads: <br /> "Portable sign"means any sign which is capable of being moved easily and is not <br /> permanently affixed to the ground or a structure or building (See subsection 36.140.) <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Portable sign"means any sign which is capable of being moved easily and is not <br /> permanently affixed to the ground or a structure or building, including readerboards (See <br /> subsection 36.140.) <br /> 2 <br />
