I <br /> POLICE HQ—MASONRY CLEANING AND REPAIR APRIL 15,2016 <br /> r <br /> a. Two (2)executed copies of the Contract. <br /> b. Contract bond or equivalent performance and payment bond per SECTION 007200, <br /> Part 15.2 "Bonds", of the Contract Documents. <br /> c. Certificate of Insurance and additional insured endorsement, SECTION 007200, Part <br /> 15.3 "Insurance", of the Contract Documents. I <br /> 3. A Contract shall not be formed until the Contract Documents are signed by the Mayor. <br /> 1.14 Time of Completion <br /> The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before the date or dates specified in Section <br /> 005213 -CONTRACT. <br /> 1.15 Wages <br /> All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the performance of <br /> the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or other person doing Work shall be paid not <br /> less than the prevailing rate of wage as defined in RCW 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage <br /> rates may be found on line at http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/. <br /> The rules and regulations noted within the Contract Documents are available from: <br /> State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries City <br /> Employment Standards Division <br /> General Administration Building <br /> Olympia, Washington 98504 <br /> Contact: Janet Day <br /> (206) 753-6317 <br /> Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such requirements. No claim <br /> for additional compensation will be allowed that is based upon a lack of knowledge of these <br /> requirements or a failure to include adequate increases in such wages over the term of this <br /> Contract in the Bidder's bid price. I <br /> 1.16 Equal Employment Opportunity <br /> The Contractor will be required to assure that equal employment opportunities will be in effect to <br /> all individuals throughout the length of this Contract,pursuant to SECTION 007200-, Part 7 <br /> "Labor Standards," of the Contract Documents. The Contractor must comply with all local, state <br /> and federal laws pertaining to non-discrimination and equal employment opportunity. <br /> 1.17 DBE/WBE Subcontractor Requirements 1 <br /> The Contractor is required to actively solicit bids for subcontract work from"Disadvantaged <br /> Business Enterprises" (DBE's) and "Women's Business Enterprises" (WBE's).
