POLICE HQ—MASONRY CLEANIG AND REPAIR APRIL 15,2016 <br /> SECTION 01 5000—TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS <br /> ' PART 1 —GENERAL <br /> 1.01 SECTION INCLUDES <br /> ' A. This work includes furnishing,installing, operating,maintaining,and removal of <br /> temporary construction facilities. <br /> ' 1.02 TEMPORARY FACILITIES <br /> A. Meals and Lodging: The Owner will not provide meal and lodging facilities for the <br /> ' Contractor's personnel. <br /> B. The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for temporary water service. All <br /> ' costs thereof shall be borne by the Contractor. <br /> C. Electric Power: The Contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for temporary <br /> ' electrical service. All costs thereof shall be borne by the Contractor. <br /> D. Toilet Facilities <br /> ' 1. The Contractor shall provide and maintain adequate chemical toilet facilities for <br /> all individuals connected with the work,with separate facilities for men and <br /> women. <br /> ' 2. The Contractor shall keep the toilet facilities in sanitary condition in accordance <br /> with the Snohomish County Health Department. <br /> 3. The Contractor shall remove the toilet facilities at completion of the contract and <br /> shall disinfect the premises. <br /> E. Telephone Service: The Contractor shall make arrangements for temporary telephone <br /> ' service. All costs thereof shall be borne by the Contractor. <br /> F. The Contractor shall maintain the construction area in a neat and orderly condition <br /> throughout the contract. Food and garbage shall be stored properly to prevent attracting <br /> animals. Remove food and garbage from the site during non-work hours. Practice <br /> controls to stop rodent infestation of temporary facilities and the job site. <br /> ' G. Staging and stockpiling areas will be determined in the pre-construction conference. <br /> H. Temporary Buildings: The Contractor may construct or provide temporary buildings, at <br /> an approved or designated location,as may be necessary for the performance of the work. <br /> At the completion of the work,the Contractor shall remove all temporary buildings. <br /> Hydrant Use Permits: The Contractor shall obtain required hydrant use permits from the <br /> Water Utility having control over fire hydrants. All costs thereof shall be borne by the <br /> Contractor. <br /> J. After completion of Work the Contractor shall remove all temporary facilities and shall <br /> restore the temporary facilities area to its original state. <br /> TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS 01 5000- 1 <br />
