He <br /> also reminded citizens that the Council Budget Subcommittee will meet <br /> next Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council <br /> Chambers. He also announced that on May 18, 2016, City staff will be <br /> presenting a budget briefing. <br /> Council Member Franklin provided a liaison report on her attendance at <br /> the Community Streets Initiative meeting today. She also reported on her <br /> attendance at the Animal Shelter Advisory Board meeting last week and <br /> announced that a public hearing regarding a proposed fee revision will be <br /> held on May 25, 2016, 5:30 p.m., at the Everett Animal Shelter. She <br /> encouraged citizens to visit the City's website if they would like to provide <br /> written comments regarding a proposed fee change. Council Member <br /> Franklin stated that Governor Inslee proclaimed April 2016 as Financial <br /> Capability Month, and she recently participated in the Jump$tart <br /> Washington Reading Days program. <br /> President Murphy reported on his attendance last Thursday at a meeting <br /> of the Washington Association of Community and Technical Colleges, <br /> hosted by Everett Community College, which included a 100th birthday <br /> celebration of the Boeing Company.
