Guidelines: <br /> • Trees should be used to break up large surface parking areas at one <br /> tree per six parking stalls in accordance with EMC 19.35.080. <br /> • Trellises, low decorative walls (max 30"high) or raised planters <br /> should be used to screen parking lots from adjacent streets and <br /> walkways. <br /> • Wheel stops shall be used to prevent vehicles from overhanging <br /> into planting areas. <br /> • Parking lots will provide Type III landscaping along the street <br /> frontage. <br /> • The landscape planting areas between the sidewalk and the parking <br /> lot shall be 10 feet wide.
