1 G. "Premises" is defined as a continuous tract of land, building, or <br /> 2 group of adjacent buildings under a single control with respect to use of <br /> 3 water and responsibility for payment therefor. Subdivision of such use or <br /> 4 responsibility shall constitute a division into separate premises as herein <br /> 5 defined; <br /> 6 H. "Sanitary sewage" means water-carried human wastes or a <br /> 7 combination of water-carried wastes from residences, business buildings, <br /> 8 institutions or industrial establishments; and <br /> 9 I. "Surface drainage waters" means unconfined diffuse waters <br /> 10 originating from rain, melting snow, or other sources which runs off private <br /> 11 property into public streets and storm sewers. <br /> 12 <br /> SECTION 2: UNLAWFUL CONNECTIONS. <br /> 13 <br /> It is unlawful for any person or persons to make any connection with, <br /> 14 <br /> or in any manner obstruct, interfere with, alter or repair any part of the <br /> 15 <br /> Everett municipal sewer system within the corporate limits of the City, <br /> 16 <br /> except as provided in this ordinance. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 SECTION 3: REQUIRED CONNECTIONS. <br /> 19 Every dwelling house, hotel , apartment, factory, store or other <br /> 20 building in which plumbing arrangements have been, or are to be, placed <br /> 21 shall be connected to the sanitary sewer, as required in this ordinance, <br /> 22 when such public sewer is abutting the property line of the premises on <br /> 23 which such buildings or areas are located. When such sanitary sewer is not <br /> 24 provided, such building and/or areas shall be connected to a septic disposal <br /> 25 system, meeting all requirements of the City. <br /> 26 <br /> SECTION 4: STORM DRAINAGE WATER CONNECTIONS <br /> 27 <br /> A. All surface drainage water from roofs, drainage, parking, sales <br /> 28 <br /> and display lots and other impervious surfaces shall be connected to a storm <br /> 29 <br /> sewer when such system is available. When such system is not provided, such <br /> 30 <br /> lots and areas shall provide for surface and storm drainage in accordance <br /> 31 <br /> with the ordinances of the City. <br /> 32 <br /> 2 <br />
