1 street or alley restored forthwith, and any cost incurred in such work shall <br /> 2 be charged to the permittee and/or the sewer contractor in charge of such <br /> 3 work, and must be paid for before he shall receive any further permit. <br /> 4 Permittee shall be responsible to follow all safety regulations, <br /> 5 particularly but not limited to shoring of excavations over four feet deep. <br /> 6 If any work done in pursuance of permit granted as heretofore prescribed be <br /> 7 not constructed and completed in accordance with the plan filed, and to the <br /> 8 acceptance of the inspector, and the permittee or licensed contractor shall <br /> 9 refuse to properly construct and complete the work, notice thereof shall be <br /> 10 given to the owner of the property for whom the work is being done and the <br /> 11 City shall proceed to complete and connect the sewer in a proper manner, and <br /> 12 the full cost of such work and materials necessary therefor shall be charged <br /> 13 and become a lien against said property and shall be collected in the manner <br /> 14 provided for said liens. <br /> 15 C. Not more than one building shall be connected to a side sewer,- <br /> 16 except by permission of the Director of Public Works. In all cases where <br /> 17 there are houses on separate lots, they must be connected separately to the <br /> 18 main sewer, whether such lots are owned by the same person or by different <br /> 19 persons. If two houses are situated on the same lot, one connection to the <br /> 20 main sewer may be permitted if approved by the Director of Public Works. <br /> 21 D. Every piece of sewer pipe used in side sewer construction work <br /> 22 shall have a bell . <br /> 23 E. All vaults or privies shall be disinfected and filled with fresh <br /> 24 earth and all septic tanks, cesspools and similar installations shall be <br /> 25 disinfected and filled with fresh earth at the time of the discontinuance of <br /> 26 • <br /> the use thereof. <br /> 27 F. Before any side sewer may be located on any private property, <br /> 28 other than that owned by the owner of the side sewer, the owner of the side <br /> 29 sewer shall secure from the owner of such property a written easement, duly <br /> 30 acknowledged, granting the right to occupy such property for such purpose. <br /> 31 Such written easement shall , by the owner of the sewer, be recorded in the <br /> 32 <br /> 8 <br />
