I I 1 A Subcontractor or lower tier Subcontractor will not be permitted to perform any work 2 under the contract until the following documents have been completed and submitted to 3 the Engineer: 4 5 1. Contractor and Subcontractor or Lower Tier Subcontractor Certification for 7 Federal-aid Projects (Form 420-004 EF). 8 9 The Contractor's records pertaining to the requirements of this Special Provision shall 10 be open to inspection or audit by representatives of the Contracting Agency during the 11 life of the contract and for a period of not less than three years after the date of 12 acceptance of the contract. The Contractor shall retain these records for that period. 13 The Contractor shall also guarantee that these records of all Subcontractors and lower 14 tier Subcontractors shall be available and open to similar inspection or audit for the 15 same time period. 16 17 0 3 �T 18 1-08.3(2)A Type A Progress Schedule 19 (March 13, 2012 APWA GSP) 20 21 Revise this section to read: 22 23 The Contractor shall submit ***13 **, copies of a Type A Progress Schedule no later than 24 at the preconstruction conference, or some other mutually agreed upon submittal time. 25 The schedule may be a critical path method (CPM) schedule, bar chart, or other 26 standard schedule format. Regardless of which format used, the schedule shall identify 27 the critical path. The Engineer will evaluate the Type A Progress Schedule and approve 28 or return the schedule for corrections within 15 calendar days of receiving the submittal. 29 30 L1 08 ' , 31 1-08.4 Prosecution of Work I 32 33 Delete this section and replace it with the following: 34 111 35 1-08.4 Notice to Proceed and Prosecution of Work 36 (July 23, 2015 APWA GSP) 37 38 Notice to Proceed will be given after the contract has been executed and the contract 39 bond and evidence of insurance have been approved and filed by the Contracting 40 Agency. The Contractor shall not commence with the work until the Notice to Proceed 41 has been given by the Engineer. The Contractor shall commence construction activities 42 on the project site within ten days of the Notice to Proceed Date, unless otherwise 43 approved in writing. The Contractor shall diligently pursue the work to the physical 44 completion date within the time specified in the contract.
