I <br /> 1 8-09.AP8 <br /> 2 Section 8-09, Raised Pavement Markers <br /> 3 April 7, 2014 <br /> 1 4 8-09.3(6) Recessed Pavement Marker <br /> 5 The following sentence is inserted after the first sentence of the first paragraph: <br /> 6 <br /> 7 The Contractor shall ensure that grinding of the pavement does not result in any <br /> 8 damage, (e.g. chipping, spalling or raveling) to the pavement to remain. <br /> 9 <br /> 1 10 8-11.AP8 <br /> 11 Section 8-11, Guardrail <br /> 12 April 7, 2014 <br /> 13 8-11.3(1) Beam Guardrail <br /> I 14 <br /> 15 After the below Amendments to 8-11.3(1)F and 8-11.3(1)G are applied, this section is <br /> 16 supplemented with the following new sub-section: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 8-11.3(1)F Removing and Resetting Beam Guardrail <br /> 19 The Contractor shall remove and reset existing guardrail posts, rail element, hardware <br /> 20 and blocks to the location shown in the Plans. The mounting height of reset rail element <br /> 21 shall be at the height shown in the Plans. The void caused by the removal of the post <br /> 22 shall be backfilled and compacted. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 The Contractor shall remove and replace any existing guardrail posts and blocks that <br /> 25 are not suited for re-use, as staked by the Engineer. The void caused by the removal of <br /> 26 the post shall be backfilled and compacted.
