1 <br /> 2 If the Contract calls for the removal and resetting of permanent barrier, and the <br /> 3 permanent barrier is not required to remain in place until reset, the permanent barrier <br /> 4 may be substituted for temporary concrete barrier. Any of the permanent barrier <br /> 5 damaged during its use as temporary barrier will become the property of the Contractor <br /> 6 and be replaced with permanent barrier when the permanent barrier is reset to its <br /> 7 permanent location. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 The third paragraph is revised to read: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 All barrier shall be in good condition, without cracks, chips, spalls, dirt, or traffic marks. If <br /> 12 any barrier segment is damaged during or after placement, the Contractor shall <br /> 13 immediately repair it to the Engineer's satisfaction or replace it with an undamaged <br /> 14 section. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 The following new paragraph is inserted after the third paragraph: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Delineators shall be placed on the traffic face of the barrier 6 inches from the top and 11119 spaced a maximum of 40 feet on tangents and 20 feet through curves.
