General Administration General administrative services to be performed in support of activities noted above include fiscal oversight, human resources, and information technology. B. National Objectives The Subgrantee certifies that the activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet one or more of the following CDBG National Objectives - 1) benefit low/moderate income persons, 2) aid in the prevention or elimination of slums or blight or, 3) meet community development needs having a particular urgency - as defined in 24 CFR Part 570.208. Briefly describe how this National Objective will be met. The activities carried out with funds provided under this Agreement will meet the following CDBG National Objective — 1) benefit low-moderate income persons. The ability for low-income seniors, living in subsidized and affordable housing complexes, to 'age in place' is an ongoing concern for service providers and housing managers. As seniors grow older their need for services that help them maintain their health and safety continues to increase. Many residents are active and healthy but have conditions that lead to occasional episodes where services may be needed. Others can become frail almost overnight and require services that are more comprehensive. If difficult events such as hospitalization, loss of a spouse, or injury occur, the service coordinator is available to provide support, information about services and advocacy. C. Performance Monitoring The City will monitor the performance of the Subgrantee against goals and performance standards required herein. Substandard performance as determined by the City will constitute non-compliance with this Agreement. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by the Subgrantee within a reasonable period of time after being notified by the City, contract suspension or termination procedures will be initiated. D.
