BMP C201: No new grass -lined swales are proposed. <br />BMP C204: No pipe slope drains are proposed. <br />BMP C205: No subsurface drains are proposed. There are existing subsurface <br />footing and downspout drains around the perimeter of Building 4. The existing <br />subsurface drains will be retained and flushed to verify they properly drain <br />stormwater after the construction project is completed. <br />BMP C206: No level spreader is proposed. <br />BMP C207: No check dams are proposed. <br />BMP C208: No triangular silt dike is proposed. <br />Element #7: Protect Drain Inlets <br />a) All existing drain inlets and catch basins that are downslope of Building 4 and <br />could be affected by stormwater runoff from the construction zone will remain <br />operable at all times during the construction project. The affected drains are <br />shown on the Site Plan drawing. The drain inlets and catch basins will be <br />protected with filter fabric installed under the grate to collect any residual silt or <br />debris entering the drains installed before construction starts and removed after <br />the construction is completed. <br />b) Catch basins covered by filter fabric will be inspected by the contractor on a <br />weekly basis and the filter fabric cleaned or replaced as required. <br />c) BMP C220: Storm drains downslope of the construction zone around Building <br />4 will be protected by filter fabric. Locations are shown on the Site plan drawing. <br />Element #8: Stabilize Channels and Inlets <br />a) No temporary on -site conveyance channels are proposed for this construction <br />project. <br />b) BMP C202: No channel lining is proposed. <br />BMP C209: No outlet protection is proposed. <br />Element #9: Control Pollutants <br />a) All waste materials and demolition debris that occur in the construction zone will <br />be handled, removed and disposed of by the removing contractors in accordance <br />with all regulations and in a manner that does not contaminate stormwater. <br />b) The contractor will cover, contain and protect from vandalism all chemicals, <br />liquid products, petroleum products and other materials that pose a threat to <br />human health or the environment. <br />14037B C-SWPPP Narrative <br />_ O <br />
