6. New windows, sheathing and siding will be installed throughout the northerly portion
of the building.
7. Anew patio slab will be installed outside Unit 411 on the west side of the building
near the north end.
8. The interiors of the apartment units will be reconstructed to match their original
configuration.
9. The landscaping, shrubbery and lawn areas will be restored to the condition that
existed prior to the fire.
At the start of the project to design the repairs, we received a copy of the architectural
plans from the time when the building complex was constructed. The original plans
include a site plan and civil plans showing site drainage. We have visited the site several
times and have verified that the site topography, drainage system and site landscaping all
are constructed in the field in close conformance with the drawings made for the
construction of the building complex originally. We have also discussed the site
geotechnical conditions with ZipperGeo Associates.
This narrative discusses the required elements of the C-SWPPP to be implemented during
the course of the construction project and addresses each of the 12 required elements
identified in Section 2.4 of Volume II the City of Everett Stormwater Management
Manual. Where pertinent information is shown on the Site Plan drawing, the narrative
will cross reference the drawing.
Our response to the 12 required elements for the C-SWPPP are as follows:
Element #1: Mark Clearing Limits
a) No grading and clearing is proposed for this repair project. There are no sensitive
areas in the area of Building 4. Two trees are in the construction zone around
Building 4, which are shown on the Site Plan drawing to be marked and protected
in the field throughout the course of the construction project.
b) Since no clearing is proposed, no clearing fence is proposed for this construction
site.
c) The limiting area of construction activity around Building 4 is shown on the Site
Plan drawing. The existing lawn and shrubbery will be left in place so as to
minimize surface erosion during the winter months while the construction project
is on -going. A duff layer will be placed to temporarily cover the open landscape
14037E C-SWPPP Narrative A'
9
