soils around Building 4 during the course of construction and removed following
construction. Where the contractor feels it is best to remove shrubbery to perform
the work, the shrubbery will be documented by the contractor and replaced to
match existing at the conclusion of the project.
d) BMP C 101: All natural vegetation will be retained to the fullest extent possible.
BMP C 102: No buffer zones are proposed.
BMP C 103 : A chain link security fence currently exists around the area of
Building 4 which will remain throughout construction. A high
visibility plastic fence is not proposed for this project.
Element #2: Establish Construction Entrance
a) This project has no earthwork, clearing or grading. Truck access for the
construction project is limited to material deliveries and worker access. The
current site paving and parking layout is one -directional and is shown on the Site
Plan drawing. All trucks will be driving on asphalt -paved driveways on -site and
no sediment will be carried from the site to city streets and roads.
b) No street washing of city streets is proposed.
c) Washing of sediment from driveways on -site will be performed on an as needed
basis and upon completion of the project.
d) BMP C 105: No stabilized construction entrance is proposed.
BMP C 106: No wheel wash is proposed.
BMP C 107: No construction road/parking area for construction purposes is
proposed.
Element #3: Control Flow Rates:
a) The proposed repair for Building 4 at the Beverly Village Apartments involves
rebuilding the building's roof back to its original configuration and size. No
change in impervious surface from roofs is proposed. The only site change
proposed is a 6' wide by 10' long concrete patio at Unit 411 near the north end of
the building, which is partially under the roof overhang.
b) No changes to off -site flows are proposed. No downstream analysis was
performed.
c) Since no clearing or grading is proposed, no construction site stormwater
retention/detention facilities for this project are proposed.
14037B C-SWPPP Narrative 31
