Occupancy: <br />1. The occupancy revisions from fixed seating to chairs should be shown on the architectural drawings, <br />since this has created the requirement for a structural revision, per IBC table 1607.1. <br />a. Occupancy calculation assumptions based on use and square footage, should be included in the <br />code analysis, per IBC table 1004.1.1. <br />b. Please indicate if a revised certificate of occupancy is requested at the conclusion of the final <br />inspection. If yes, then the occupancy load calculations should include existing rooms for a <br />total occupant load of the building. <br />2. Please indicate a posted occupancy sign on the drawings for all rooms with assembly use, per IBC table <br />1004.1.1. <br />3. Construction type and occupancy types for the building should be included in the code analysis, per <br />IBC table 503 and section 506. <br />4. The code analysis should indicate if the building is fully sprinklered and has an automatic detection <br />system. <br />Eg ress <br />1. The revised drawings should clearly indicate the path of travel to the exits, per IBC section 1020.1. <br />a. The exit and exit access discharge should be shown on the drawings discharge to the public way, <br />per IBC sections and tables 1015.1, 1021.2. 1027.1, and 1027.6. The sidewalks immediately <br />outside of the exits should be shown on the drawings. <br />b. Fixtures and furnishings should be shown on the drawings to demonstrate the minimum egress <br />aisle width of 36 inches, per IBC section 1017.2, unless the occupant load requires more width, per <br />IBC section 1005.1. <br />c. Emergency lighting should be shown on the drawings, per IBC section 1006.1, where two exits are <br />required. <br />d. Illuminated exit signs should be shown on the drawings, per IBC section 1011.1, where two exits <br />are required. <br />Construction: <br />1. Please include new floor plans showing new and existing work for the fellowship rooms, sanctuary, and <br />a building section through those areas showing new and existing construction, including ceilings and <br />roof revisions. <br />2. Plumbing fixture calculations should be submitted to show compliance with Chapter 29 of the IBC, <br />based on the scope of the tenant improvement. <br />3. New drawings are required to show the replacement of the fixtures in the required toilet rooms, and <br />other revisions that may be required after the demolition shown on sheet A4, permit B1305-024. <br />4. The revised floor plan should show the use and occupant load for the area north of the sanctuary, <br />where most of the existing walls have been removed, per the recent permit B1305-024. <br />
