Consultant will provide input on modifications to the City's those contract documents. Any <br /> special legal counsel, if needed, will be retained by the City's legal department. <br /> • Drawings/Condition Assessments: It is assumed that the reservoir drawings will be provided <br /> by the City and that they represent accurate record drawings. No effort is included to prepare <br /> or verify record drawings. It is also assumed the City will provide pertinent operational data <br /> and the most recent condition assessments for the reservoirs and that no additional <br /> condition assessment will be required. <br /> • Durations: The scope of work and estimate for Consultant services assumes the following <br /> durations for project phases: <br /> o Procurement Phase -8 months (majority) of the work in 2017) <br /> o Design/Construction Phase -8 months <br /> • Reproduction:The scope assumes the City will make all copies required for issuing the RFQ <br /> and RFP. <br /> • Special Inspections:The scope assumes the City will contract directly for special inspection <br /> services. <br /> Because the type of services required under this contract are likely to evolve over the course of the <br /> Project,this Scope of Work includes an additional allowance task(Task 4)to provide additional <br /> services during the procurement, design and construction phases. <br /> TASK DESCRIPTIONS <br /> Phase 1 - DB Procurement <br /> Task 100 Project Management <br /> Objective. To manage and coordinate Consultant's work with work conducted by the City, provide <br /> monthly progress reporting, and alert the City to issues that have the potential to adversely affect <br /> Project budget and schedule, and provide quality reviews of Consultant work products. <br /> Scope: Phase 1 Project Management services include: <br /> 1. Develop an overall schedule for development of the Project(through closeout of the selected <br /> DB contractor's work)that reflects the selected procurement strategy for the Project. A draft <br /> of the schedule will be developed for discussion during the procurement strategy workshop <br /> following CPARB - PRC approval. <br /> 2. Prepare monthly Project status reports for submittal with progress payment invoices. <br /> Progress reports will identify budget status, progress status, activities of the previous month, <br /> upcoming activities, and areas of risk with the potential to adversely affect Project budget <br /> and/or schedule. <br /> 3. As needed, procure and coordinate the activities of subconsultants providing specialized <br /> services.
