The Consultant will review and provide input to the City on Proposals with specific focus on: 1) any <br /> proposers who appear to have failed to meet proposal submittal requirements; 2) demonstrated <br /> ability to meet the RFP criteria; and 3) commercial or technical concerns raised by respondents. <br /> Consultant comments on each proposal will be provided in matrix form to the City. The scope <br /> assumes up to 3 proposals will be submitted and reviewed by the Consultant. The scope further <br /> assumes that the Consultant will attend up to two meetings in Everett to support the City's proposal <br /> review team, and that the City will take the lead in interviewing proposers. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Preliminary draft, draft and final DB RFP <br /> • Up to one RFP addendum <br /> • Up to 3 proposal review matrices <br /> • Five meetings in Everett(one pre-bid meeting,two during RFP preparation;two during <br /> proposal reviews/ interviews) <br /> Task 150 Negotiations Support <br /> The Consultant will support the City during Contract negotiations. Support activities will include <br /> tracking and preparing revisions to DB Contract appendices and attending negotiating sessions as <br /> requested. It is assumed the City's legal department will take the lead on revisions to the DB <br /> Contract "front end." An allowance of$5,000 has been included to provide these services as <br /> needed. <br /> Phase 2—Oversight during Design <br /> Task 200 Project Management <br /> The Consultant will provide ongoing project management services during the design phase as <br /> described under Phase 1,Task 100 above. <br /> Task 210 Design Reviews <br /> Objective:To review the DB firm's design relative to the specified performance and design criteria. <br /> Scope: <br /> The Consultant will review the DB contractor's design submittals relative to DB contract technical <br /> and performance requirements and to industry standards. It is assumed two design reviews will be <br /> conducted, and that comments will be transmitted to the City. Up to two meetings with the DB <br /> Contractor to discuss comments/ resolve technical issues will be conducted. <br /> Deliverables: <br /> • Two sets of design review comments <br /> • Attendance at up to two design review meetings <br /> Task 220 DB Compliance Support <br /> Objective:To support the City with respect to DB Contract compliance issues during the design phase. <br /> _._.--.------_ _-.._.-------___--- BrownCaldwell -- <br /> 5 <br />
