Scope: <br /> As directed by the City,the Consultant will advise the City on contract compliance issues that may <br /> arise during the design phase. The Consultant could provide templates to facilitate City staff tracking <br /> of submittal and compliance issues including elements of work (certifications, submittals, other <br /> documentation)that must be completed prior to initiating construction. The scope includes an <br /> allowance of$3,000 for this work. <br /> Deliverables(as requested by the City): <br /> • Contract compliance tracking forms <br /> • A review of compliance with requirements for initiating construction <br /> • Advise on contract compliance issues <br /> Phase 3—Oversight during Construction <br /> Task 300 Project Management <br /> The Consultant will provide ongoing project management services during the construction phase as <br /> described under Phase 1,Task 100 above. <br /> Task 310 Contract Compliance Support <br /> Objective: To support the City with respect to DB Contract compliance issues during the construction <br /> phase including support related to Project acceptance and closeout. <br /> Scope: <br /> This scope assumes that the City will be taking the lead on compliance support issues as part of the <br /> City's construction oversight/ inspection role. As requested by the City,the Consultant will advise <br /> the City on contract compliance issues that may arise during the construction phase. The Consultant <br /> could provide templates to facilitate City staff tracking of submittal and compliance issues as <br /> directed by the City including elements of work(certifications,submittals, acceptance and closeout <br /> documentation)that must be completed prior to acceptance and closeout. This scope includes an <br /> allowance of$10,000 to support the City as requested. <br /> Deliverables(as requested by the City): <br /> • Contract compliance tracking forms including acceptance and closeout(final completion) <br /> • Review of compliance with requirements for acceptance and final completion <br /> • Advice on contract compliance issues during construction <br /> Task 320 Field Technical Support <br /> Objective: To support the City as requested during factory fabrication and during critical field <br /> construction activities <br /> Scope: <br /> An allowance of$17,000 is included for this task for services such as: <br /> • The Consultant's structural engineer visiting the fabrication site to confirm required factory <br /> testing records,fabrication requirements, coating requirements etc. prior to shipping each <br /> reservoir's roof system. <br /> • Preparing a report to the City describing the results and identifying any areas of concern. <br /> — — Brown—Caldwell <br /> 6 <br />
