They had no <br />idea that this home was illegally modified. I told her what work appeared to have been done and that we <br />posted it Unlawful. She was a little taken back that we had "ordered" the operator to remove the elderly dying <br />patient from one of the affected rooms. I explained to her that we did not issue any order, but merely <br />suggested that if there was another room available within the house, that moving him was a good idea. I <br />explained that we do have the authority to condemn, but at least at this point we did not see anything <br />requiring that action.
