11 <br /> Task 4. Review of Submittals <br /> As requested by the City,CH2M HILL will review selected submittals from the construction <br /> contractors. To the extent possible,comments will be provided electronically. The City will <br /> be reviewing the submittals concurrent with CH2M HILL's review. City staff will <br /> coordinate CH2M HILL's comments with any City comments. <br /> For purposes of establishing a budget,630 hours are budgeted for this task. <br /> Task 5. Site Visits <br /> As requested by the City,CH2M HILL staff will make occasional visits to the site to consult <br /> with City staff regarding construction issues. It is anticipated that staff participating in the <br /> site visits will include designers from the following specialties: structural,electrical, <br /> mechanical,instrumentation, tunneling,corrosion,and geotechnical. Specialists from <br /> CH2M HILL architectural,HVAC,erosion control,and piping groups may also participate <br /> in site visits if requested by the City. For purposes of establishing a budget,36 hours are <br /> included for site visits. <br /> Task 6. Assistance with Responding to Contractor's Requests for Information <br /> As requested by the City,CH2M HILL staff will assist with responding to the contractor's <br /> Requests for Information(RFIs). The RFIs will be submitted from the contractors to the City <br /> and the City will transmit selected technical RFIs to CH2M HILL for preparation of a <br /> response. Responses to RFIs will be transmitted to City staff who will,in turn,transmit the <br /> response to the contractor. For purposes of budgeting,60 hours are budgeted for the <br /> Schedule A work and 40 hours are budgeted for the Schedule B work. <br /> Task 7. Assistance with Preparation of Change Orders <br /> As requested by the City,CH2M HILL staff will assist with preparing change orders for the <br /> construction contract. This work may involve revising drawings,revising specifications, <br /> additional design effort,and review of cost proposals. For budgetary purposes,135 hours <br /> are anticipated for this task. <br /> Task 8. Assistance with Programming of the PLC <br /> CH2M HILL will assist the City staff with configuring the applications software for the <br /> Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)system to provide the automatic operation of the <br /> pump station. The pump station program will be added to the existing PLC system <br /> installed at the Water Pollution Control Facility. The City will provide CH2M HILL with <br /> the latest version of the PLC program in electronic format. The new pump station program <br /> will be added to the existing program. This scope and accompanying budget assume that <br /> no changes to the existing PLC program will be made during the software development <br /> period. However if,during the pump station software development period,changes to the <br /> existing PLC program are made,the City will provide CH2M HILL with a new copy of the <br /> PLC program and a written description of the changes made. <br /> EXHIBIT A-JULY 16 DOC <br /> 5 <br /> b <br />
