• • <br /> 3. The roofing details should indicate if the 1/2 inch cover board is new, the base ply is new, and <br /> the other materials referenced in the detail are existing or new. <br /> 4. The drawings should indicate the existing roofing materials and if any of the current roofing is <br /> being removed prior to the new roofing installation. <br /> 5. New roof coverings should not be installed without first removing all existing layers of roof <br /> coverings down to the roof deck if the existing roof has two or more applications of any roofing <br /> covering, per IBC section 1510.3. <br /> 6. Compliance with light transmitting plastic specifications to meet IBC section 2606.4 should be <br /> shown on the drawings. <br /> 7. Cut sheets for the new skylights should be submitted to indication compliance with the <br /> structural requirements of IBC section 2606.5. <br /> Energy <br /> 1. New skylights should show compliance with a maximum U value of 0.60 at individual skylights, <br /> per WSEC Table 13-1. <br /> These comments address building issues only. Revisions or additions may be required by other <br /> departments (Utilities, Public Works, or Planning). <br /> Upon resubmission of the drawings, plan review will resume and your application will be given priority. <br /> All required submittals must be of sufficient detail and information to ensure that the proposed <br /> structure will be constructed in compliance with all adopted codes.
