5 <br /> Provide up to three alternatives include horizontal and vertical profiles, opinions of cost <br /> and provide a preferred alternative recommendation. <br /> 4.3. The team will prepare surface water treatment options. <br /> 4.3.a. Develop surface water runoff quantities. Calculate requirements for water quality <br /> treatment and detention. <br /> 4.3.b. The team will develop a surface water bypass system to the existing sewer main. <br /> 4.3.c. The team will prepare a technical memorandum outlining convention surface <br /> treatment facilities and costs versus a bypass system. <br /> 4.4. The team will prepare schematic plan for roadside plantings based on studies and <br /> discussions with City. The plan will identify the preliminary planting concepts, sidewalk <br /> design, and will include an overall plan, site. <br /> 4.5. As part of the design report, a summary of quantities and an opinion of construction cost <br /> estimate for the entire project will be developed for each alternative. <br /> 4.6. Perteet Engineering will produce a design report that will summarize the results of design <br /> report efforts. It will include narrative on project background, alternatives considered, and <br /> recommendations made. Each of the above items will be covered with narrative and with <br /> the plan/profile sheets and detail sheets. The result of the studies, preliminary engineering, <br /> and meetings will be a report that will discuss alternatives and present a recommendation <br /> the project. A separate technical appendix will accompany the design report. The <br /> technical appendix will include data and calculations used in the evaluation of the <br /> alternatives. The City will be provided with 10 copies of the preliminary review submittal <br /> and one camera-ready copy of the final design. <br /> 5. COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM <br /> 5.1. Citizen Advisory Team (CAT) <br /> 5.1.a. Develop a long-term strategy and schedule for meaningful involvement of the <br /> Citizen Advisory Team and public involvement and outreach. <br /> 5.1.b. The team will prepare appropriate materials including agendas, plans, graphics, and <br /> questionnaires for each team meeting. Assume up to 6 meetings during this phase <br /> of the project. <br /> 5.2. The consultant will prepare appropriate base plans, graphics, and illustrations for a parking <br /> workshop. Including, meeting agendas, sign-in sheets, comment cards, topographic base <br /> plans, pens, and parking alternatives for review and comment. <br /> 5.3. As a presentation tool the preferred alternative will be produced as a three- dimensional fly <br /> through.
