Members of the community will experience what it was
like to watch a silent movie back in the 1920s when silent movies were the major form of
entertainment. In addition, they will hear how each movie was made and what was happening
in the lives of the actors, directors and studios at the time the movie was made. Both
entertaining and educational, "Silents, Please!" brings silent movie historian Dennis James to
the program to lend his expertise.
