These soils are of moderately-high tu high shear strength <br />und have high resistancc aguinst slope failures. 'I'hcn�fore, the risk for decp-seated landslides <br />culting into the ticsh Espersncc Sand de�sits underling the subjcct lot should be minimnl. <br />F.rosion Hazard <br />l�he surficial topsoil and loose wcathered Gsperance Sand soils mantling the stecper portion of <br />the subject lot can bc easily eroded if devoid of vegetation and overly saturatcd. Pmgrcssive <br />erosion can result in shallow mudtlow•s in the we�ilcer surficiul soils. To mitigate such erosion <br />potcnti:d, the vegctation cover outsiJe of construction limits should not tx: disturbed. <br />Concentrated stormwater shoulJ not lx released onto the ground within the lot or adjacent <br />proExrtics.
