The site should be stabiliud with proper erosion control in <br />place beyond this dry season grading period. If conswction work to be carried out outside of the <br />above drycr period, the rccommendations for sile stabiliwtion, erosion mitigation and drainage <br />control in this rcport should be in place and operetional on a daily basis, end the site stability <br />should be monitored by a geotechnical engincer daily during site gtading. <br />GEOLOGIC HAZARDS <br />Landslidc Hazards <br />The hillside on which the subject lot is siwated is formed with dense to very-dense, Gesh, <br />L'•sperancc Sand soils nt shallow depth. These soils are of moderately-high tu high shear strength <br />und have high resistancc aguinst slope failures. 'I'hcn�fore, the risk for decp-seated landslides <br />culting into the ticsh Espersncc Sand de�sits underling the subjcct lot should be minimnl. <br />F.rosion Hazard <br />l�he surficial topsoil and loose wcathered Gsperance Sand soils mantling the stecper portion of <br />the subject lot can bc easily eroded if devoid of vegetation and overly saturatcd. Pmgrcssive <br />erosion can result in shallow mudtlow•s in the we�ilcer surficiul soils. To mitigate such erosion <br />potcnti:d, the vegctation cover outsiJe of construction limits should not tx: disturbed. <br />Concentrated stormwater shoulJ not lx released onto the ground within the lot or adjacent <br />proExrtics. Unpaved ex�wsed groand within thc lot resulted Gom construction uctivities should <br />bc rc-vcgetated a soon as possible. Stortn runoff ovcr im�rvious surfaces, such ns roofs and <br />Jrivcways, should be captured with undergrounJ drain line systems connected to roof <br />LIU & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />
