A one year guarantee is required on all public improvements for <br />an amount not less than 10� of the cost of construction and <br />shall run for one year from the date of final approval/issuance <br />of the first Occupancy Permit for. the project. <br />5. Required fire flow to the site shall be no less than 1,500 <br />gallons per minute. <br />6. An approved automatic fire detection system is required. (City <br />Ordinance 1759-90) Plans for the system must be submitted to the <br />City Fire Marshal for approval. Such plans shall include a site <br />plan, floor plan, and catalog specification sheets for all <br />equipment proposed for installatioti. <br />Trip tests must be conducted and witnessed by a Fire Inspector <br />prior to final acceptance of the system. Call 259-8726 to set up <br />appointments for trip tests. <br />7. The plan indicates that there is an "uninhabitable storage <br />cellar" at the west end of the building. It should be noted that <br />occupied portions of buildings (any storage is considered <br />"occupied�' ) must have a minimum of two exits which conform to <br />the UBC, Chapter ]3 requirements for means of egress. <br />8. The correct building address must be clearly and legibly posted <br />at the street entry or upon the building. <br />9. A portable fire extinguisher with a minimum UL rating of "2A" <br />must be provided within 75 feet travel distance of all portions <br />of the building during construction and prior to occupancy. <br />10. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, no <br />fires Por the purpose of disposing of construction debris will <br />be allowed. <br />11. Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and <br />Construction Standards shall be submitte�: to the Public Works <br />Department showing site parking layout, landscaping, utilities, <br />storm drainage, temporary construction erosion control, and all <br />required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works <br />Department approval of these drawings is required prior to any <br />permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed and <br />approved before the Occupancy Permit is issued. <br />12. Basements with areas over 75 feet from required openings must <br />have automatic sprinklers. (UBC 3802b) <br />13. Parking must be per City Zoning Code and City Design and <br />Construction Standards. <br />n <br />
