8. Approval of construction plans will require demonstralion that all pertinent standards and <br /> regulations are met. <br /> 9. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet but not closer than 50 feet oF every <br /> structure. <br /> 10. A fire hydrant is required within 350 driving feet of every structure. The hydrant(s) must <br /> meet City specifications. <br /> 11. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all times during <br /> conslruction. Dust suppression and street cleaning must occur as directed by lhe Public <br /> Works Inspeclor. <br /> 12. A one-year warranty is required on the public improvement for an amount not less than <br /> 10% of the cost oF constniclion and shail run for one year from the dale of final <br /> approval/issuance of the first Occupancy Permit. <br /> 13. As-builts of storm sewer, sanilary sewer, and water systems will be required to be <br /> submitted per City Design and Construction Slandards and Specifications (or <br /> DevelopmenL <br /> 14. Any broken or damaged sidewalk shall be repaired/replaced per the City Public Works <br /> Inspector. <br /> 15. Walkways must be provided from the building entrance to ihe public sidewalk. A <br /> pedestrian circulation system for the site must be approved by the Planning Director and <br /> TraFfic Engineer prior to the issuance of any building permits. Walkways must allow <br /> pedeslrians and wheelchairs to gain easy access from sidewalks and bus stops to building <br /> entrances lhrough the use of paths which are physically separated (rom vehicle traffic and <br /> maneuvering areas. (See lhe city's Design and Conslruction Standards arid Specifications <br /> Manual and Section 39.165 of the Zoning CodeJ <br /> 16. Conslruction plans must be designed from a site survey performed by a licensed State of <br /> Washington land surveyor. <br /> 17. Soil compaction testing shall be per(ormed lhroughout the construction of the public street <br /> and utilities. Density curves shall be submitted to the Public Works Department prior to <br /> permits being issued for any aspect of the project. All work pertormed by the geotechnical <br /> engineer or testing lab shall ba reported directly to the Cily Pubiic Worhs Inspector before <br /> covering work can be continued by the contractor. Daily reports shall be kept by the soiis <br /> invesligator/tesler and submilted to the Public Works Inspector within 24 hours. <br /> 18. All exposed ground must be reseeded within 30 days of the completion of conslruction. If <br /> reseeding is not practical due to weather or seasonal problems, the ground must be <br /> covered with mulch as directed by lhe Cily Engineer. <br /> 19. Temporary erosion control measures for construction activity must be operational prior to <br /> commencement �f any clearing or earthwork. <br /> �� <br />
