' Pire alarm sysrems shall be installed under pertnit of the City of Everett Building <br /> Department. Efectrical inspections and approval are required prior to calling for <br /> acceptance tests. Call (425) 257-8810 for permit information. <br /> 21. Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) System - An approved automatic suppression system shall <br /> be providcd as required by Ciry Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett <br /> 114unicipal Code. <br /> Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department and the <br /> Everett Fire Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans <br /> for the underground mains that will supply the sprinkler system. <br /> Aboveground sprinkier piping shall be hydrostaticalty tested as established in NFPA <br /> Standard 13. Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as <br /> established in NFPA Standard 24 for private fire mains. All such tests shall be <br /> wimessed by a Fire Department inspector. Cdll (425) 257-8123 to make an <br /> appointment for inspection. <br /> Contractors' materials and test cenificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire <br /> Department prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. <br /> Call (425) 257-8123 for more information. <br /> 22. Fire Safery - Fire safety practices during construction shall be in compliance with <br /> Article 87 of the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> 23. Demolition of buildings shall be in compliance with the provisions of Uniform Fire <br /> Cocie, Section 8706 'Firesafety during Demolition.' <br /> 24. The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, outdoor burning for the <br /> purpose of disposing of conswction debris or rubbish will not be permitted. <br /> 25. Parking must be per Ciry Zoning Cocie and Ciry Design and Conswction 3tandards <br /> and Specifications. For the 15,222 sf retail building, a minimum of 51 parking stalls <br /> are required. A minimum of 3 accessible spaces must be provided. <br /> The applicant has rcquested a 10% reduction in parking on the site. If the request is <br /> approved and 46 stalls are provided, a minimum of 2 accessible spaces must be <br /> provided. <br /> 26. Placement and screening of refuse disposal areas must be provided per Section 39.080 <br /> of the 'Lonine Code. Garbage receptacles, dumpsters, and recycle bins shall be <br /> providcd in all multiplc family, conuncrcial. industrial and instiwtional devclopmcnts <br /> and shall not he locared in a required front yard setback area, or street side setback <br />� <br /> g <br />
