Commercial Cookinq Operations - A ventilating hood and duct system with an approved automatic fire-extinguishing system shall be provided in accordance with the Mechanical Code for commercial-type food heat-processing equipment that produces grease-laden vapors. The hood system must be upgrnded to a "K" type system if vegetable fats are to•be utilized. 14. Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) System - An approved automatic suppression system shall be provided as required by Ciry Ordinance No. 1��2-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal � Code. Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Deparunent and the Everett Fire Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains that will supply the sprinkler system. � Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standard 13.
