Appropiiate <br /> trip tests, witnessed by a Fire Departrnent inspector, shall be perfortned, along with a . <br /> certificate of completion, prior to final acceptance of the system. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. <br /> Fire alarm systems shall he installed under permit of the City of Everett Building Department. <br /> Electrical inspections and approval are required prior to calling for acceptance tests. Call <br /> (425) 257-8810 for permit information. <br /> All components of the alarm must be functional with audibility as required by <br /> NFPA 72. <br /> 13. Commercial Cookinq Operations - A ventilating hood and duct system with an approved <br /> automatic fire-extinguishing system shall be provided in accordance with the Mechanical Code <br /> for commercial-type food heat-processing equipment that produces grease-laden vapors. <br /> The hood system must be upgrnded to a "K" type system if vegetable fats are to•be <br /> utilized. <br /> 14. Fire Suppression (Sprinkler) System - An approved automatic suppression system shall be <br /> provided as required by Ciry Ordinance No. 1��2-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal <br />� Code. <br /> Plans for any such system shall be submitted to the Building Deparunent and the Everett Fire <br /> Department for examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground <br /> mains that will supply the sprinkler system. � <br /> Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in NFPA Standard <br /> 13. Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in NFPA <br /> Standard 24 for private fire mains. All such tests shall be wimessed by a Fire Department <br /> inspector. Call (425) 257-8123 to make an appointment for inspection. <br /> Contractors' materials and test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire Department <br /> prior to issuance of any Certificates of Occupancy. Call (425) 257-8123 for more information. <br /> Areas not protected by spriuklers can only be utilized as storage. Storage practices shall � <br /> be in accordance with UFC requirements. <br /> 15. Any signage for d�e site must be in accordance with Zoning Code �'teudards and permits az•e <br /> required. <br /> 16. Any expansion of any of the uses within the building or future change of use of the propeity <br /> will require review by the Planning Depaztment to detemtine if the new use meets the intent of <br /> this permit or if it will require a new application. <br /> Date: <br /> PAUL .
