11. Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at the street entry. <br /> Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legibl� from the access mad. Individual <br /> apartments and suites, where applicable, shall be clearly and legibly identified from the access mad. <br /> Numbers shall be a min.bnum oj6 inehes in height and 3 inches in width. <br /> 12. A fire hydrant is required within 200 driving feet, but not closer than 50 feet, of every swcture. <br /> Location of the hydrant(s) shall be approved by the'rire Marshal. <br /> 13. Fire Flow -Fire flow requirements for this structure aze 1,500 gpm. <br /> 14. Portable Fire Protection - A portable fire extinguisher with a min�mum U.L. rating of 2-A:10-B:C <br /> _ shall be provided within 75 feet of travel on all floors of each building during conswction and prior <br /> to occupancy. <br /> I5. Fire Alartn System - An approved automatic fire detection system shall be provided as required by <br /> Ciry Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16J6, of the Everett Municipal Code. Plans for such system <br /> shall be submitted to the Fire Marshal for review and approval prior to installation. Submittal shall <br /> includw cut sheets of all equipment intended for use. Appropriate trip tests, wimessed by a Fire <br /> Department inspector, shall be perfortned, along with a certificate of completion, prior to final <br /> ace;eptance of the system. Fire alartn systems shall be installed according to NFPA Standard 72. Fire <br /> alarm systems shall be installed under permit of the Ciry of Everett Building Department. Fire Suppression (Sarinkler) System - An approved automatic suppression system .hall be provided <br /> as required by Ciry Ordinance No. 1902-92, Chapter 16.76, of the Everett Municipal Code. Plans for <br /> any such system shall be submitted to the Building Department and the Everett Fire Department for <br /> examination and approval. Such plans shall include plans for the underground mains that will supply <br /> the sprinkler system, Aboveground sprinkler piping shall be hydrostatically tested as established in <br /> NFPA Standard 13. Underground piping shall be hydrostatically tested and flushed as established in <br /> NFPA Standard 24 for private fire mains. Contractors' materials and <br /> test certificates shall be submitted to the Everett Fire Dep�utment prior to issuance of any Certificates <br /> of Occupancy. Locations shall be approved by che Fire Marshal's Office. <br /> 18. Trash Collection - Dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capar.iry shall be located a minimum of 5 feet <br /> from the building [UFC 1103.2.2, 1997 Edition]. <br /> 19. A pedestrian circulation system for the site must be approved by the Planning Director and Traffir, <br /> Engineer prior to the issuance of any building permits. Walkways must allow pedestrians and <br /> wheelchairs to gain easy access from sidewalks and bus srops to building entrances through the use of <br /> paths which are physically separated from vehide traffic and maneuvering areas. (See the ciry's <br /> Design and Construction Standards and Specifications Manual and Section 39.165 of the Zoning <br /> Code.) <br /> 20. Placement and scrcenine of refuse disposal areas must be provided per Section 39.080 of the Zoning <br /> Code. Garbage ;eceptacles, dumpsters, and recyde bins shall be provided in al� multiple family, <br /> commercial, industrial, and institutional developments. Where an alley abuts a iot, the garbage <br /> receptades, dumpster, or recycle bin shall be located adjacent to the alley. All garbage dumpsters and <br /> recycle bins must be screened from vicw from the street and from adjacent properties. This screening <br /> may be done using dense vegetation or by placing the dumpster or recycle bin in a structural <br /> a � <br />
