Occupancy <br />,/ 1. Please update the code analysis to indude the occupant load of'B'- business on the <br />upper floor for both the exiting and plumbing fixture count, based on: <br />a. The strudural calculations indicate a'B' use. <br />b. The exiting and future accessible route indicates a'B' use. <br />c. The new mechanical equipment appears to be primarily on the roof. <br />,/ 2. The total occupant load for the first Floor and projeded load of the second floor should <br />be showr on the site and building data section of the cover sheet. <br />a. The anticipated occupant load for the'B' use on the second Floor should be <br />induded on the cover sheet. <br />✓.3. The total occupant load for plumbing fi�Rures should be revised to be the same as the <br />occupant load of the floor, per IBC sedion 2902.1. The required fixture count should be <br />based on the requiremenks of th�s section for the occupancy type served, now or in the <br />future. <br />�4. The future plumbing fixture count on thz second Floor should alsn be induded, even iF it <br />wili not be constructed under this permit. <br />a. Toilets will be required on the second Floor, per IBC section 2902.1, now or in <br />the deferred building permit. Please indicate if the plumbing will be induded as <br />part of the shell construdion. <br />Egress <br />�/i. Please clarify the building egress inside the building and on an architectural site plan, <br />per IBC section 1021. <br />a. The site pian should indude prop�rty iines and the route to the public way, per <br />IBC section 1027. <br />b. Doors meeting the requirements for egress should be shown on the drawings, <br />per IBC sedion 1008. <br />c. Please indicate travel distance and occupant loads within the building, and the <br />paths to egress, per IBC sedions 1021 and IBC table 1004.1.2. <br />J 2. Egress and emergency lighting should be shown on the drawings, on both levels, per <br />IBC sections 1006.3, 1011.1, and Table 1015.1. <br />a. A discernible path of egress should be shown with illuminated exit signs on the <br />drawings, per IBC section 1011.1, where iwo exits are required. <br />b. Emergency lighting should be shown on the drawings, per IBC section 1006.1, <br />where two exits are required. <br />Construdion <br />fi. A new guard should be shown in detail and dimensions for the shell building mezzanine <br />and stairs, per IBC sedions 1013.2 and 1013.4. <br />a. Handrail and guard details and dimensions should be shown on the drawings at <br />all building stairs, and at the accessible routes where required, including heights, <br />per IBC sections 1012 and 1013. <br />✓ 2. Piease coordinate the area of the addition (mezzanine) on the site and building data <br />section of the cover sheet so that the square footage is consistent. <br />a. Sheet A2.2 indicates a meuanine square footage of 4587 sf, but the cover sheet <br />indicates a square footage of 2000 sf. <br />
